I wanted to do a sim swap at the Telkom Direct shop in Knysna. A very helpful and friendly lady tried to assist me. The 8ta system refused to allow the sim swap because their system indicated that my services were suspended. I provided proof that my contract was paid up to date and also demonstrated to the Telkom Direct employees in Knysna that my phone was active (and not suspended). After spending 53 minutes on the phone to the customer support centre they (Call Centre) eventually agreed to log a case for me to have the suspension on the system removed. What absolutely pathetic service!
