I have had my fair share of poor customer service but nothing comes close to Telkom. Doing something as simple as scheduling an appointment for a technician to come and activate my line has proved to be near impossible. There is zero communication between their departments/personnel and the retail branches are extremely unhelpful. I receive texts saying I scheduled appointments for times that I never did and then when I thought it was sorted out I left work early only to find that they were not coming. Nobody called to notify me and I had to keep calling to try and understand what was going on. It's been a terrible experience; Telkom have no right to be a leading Internet service provider because they provide no service.
