Please explain!!!

I was called by an agent last month informing me that my contract was coming to an end at the end of May and would I like to upgrade to which I answered that I would be canceling the contract as I no longer required it. She informed me that she would SMS the email address to cancel the contract. To date no SMS has been received.
On the 29 th April I emailed 8 ta from their website requesting them to cancel the contract, to date no reply.
On the 1 st May I went to the local Telkom office who opened a case number and was informed that an agent would contact me within 2 days, to date no call.
On the 14th May I called 8 ta and once again told that an agent would phone me, still NO call.
On the 21st May I once again went to the local Telkom office, the consultant phoned 8ta and was told " phone back tomorrow it is nearly 5 o'clock and we go home at 5"
On the 23 rd of May I once again phoned 8ta and was told that according to their system an agent has called me and I want to keep the contract. An agent has never phoned me.
NEVER happened.
Now please explain to me how do I cancel this contract? I've written to 8 ta, got a case number and phoned. what more do u want me to do?
