Called Telkom call centre to get information on what process is to cancel our ADSL which was over a period of 24 months and then we had to give 30 notice when canceling. I now get informed of a cancellation fee of R200 for down grading to just a landline. When requesting proof of where that was stipulated in my contract call centre agent informed me that I can dispute after they have charged me the cancellation package. When asking to please speak to a manager agent was rude and put me through to an answering machine. This is unacceptable, as a consumer I have the right to request my contract to reflect the above. Agent was unprofessional and very rude.
