I'm a bit surprised how Telkom can still be a giant on the market with the kind of services they supply. First of all they now have the worst call centre which even the Home Affairs one surpasses. U have operators who answer calls only when they feel like it. I have requested a month ago to have my prepaid line transferred from my previous area of residence to my new one. I was told to pay R318 as required service fees which I did. Days later I had to call their call centre again since they don't care about providing any feedback to customers, I was told to fix my identity details which again I did. I was then advised that someone will get in touch with me for a follow up. It never happened. The only place where u can dial their call centre and get a speedy answer from an operator is when u call from a Telkom shop and how many are they in the country. Fair enough I went to a Telkom shop and called them, I was advised to have my request re-launched and that I was going to receive a SMS, it never happened. What is happening with Telkom? I truly feel like an . can't believe for a simple task like this I have to stay in the dark and have in the process my land line disconnected.
