What Warranty???

My husband bought a Nokia Lumnia 510 via Truworths (Mtn) Truworths on our account. As i had an existing mobile device, the phone was seldom used. I wasnt interested in the phone as it didnt allow me to download what's app & facebook on the device. After close to a month, the device became problamatic. It suddenly switched off, however had a continues vibrate when i tried to charge/switch on. I contacted Truworths & was advised to return the device. On the 21/05/13 I was advised that they could not repair the phone as according to them the phone fell and has internal damages. I tried calling again, yet could not get throught to the Clearwater branch, then contacted head office. I spoke to Quinn & he transferred me to Wagied who said he'll do a follow up with the manager & revert back to me. My call was returned but i was told my forms were not found & the store was closed due to stocktaking saying he'll call again, which he never. I still have not received a call from wagied. Store manager called my husband ststing that MTN did not do a proper check and if i want another assesment i will be liable for costs. What happened to the 6 month warranty? and what will i do with a faulty cellphone??
