I recently checked my MTN bill & there is a charge of R7/day which MTN allows a company called Mira Networks to deduct from my account! Surely MTN should get clearance from the account holder BEFORE things like this can take place!
On visiting the Sunninghill branch to query this the staff are arrogant at best. I wrote them an e-mail while I was in the branch with my account statements attached & all I wanted them to do was respond via e-mail that they had received my query, the branch manager told me that his area manager told him not to respond!! I am a client with a query why can you not acknowledge receipt of it?
I took my cell phone out & videoed the staff & there unhelpful attitude (I notified them I was filming), they only wanted to give me a verbal reply (so that they could deny things later), but when the camera came out so I could record the reply then they wouldn't put their response on record! A classic case of trying to dodge responsibility.
Surely for the R7 per day I should have received some sort of content on my phone, but I have received ABSOLUTELY NOTHING & MTN can verify this by looking at my account! Surely it is illegal to deduct funds without my consent!!
