CAP ON DATA CARD IGNORED

I have had a data card (072xxxx) with Vodacom for many years. Last year March I upgraded to get a new USB stick and signed a new contract in Rivonia Vodacom store. They asked me if I would like a cap and I agreed to R500 as I had a 2g contract and that would give me a little extra room.
Today I received an sms stating my account had reached R5000!!! No warning that I was close to my cap - no warning that I had exceeded my cap until it reached this level. That is unacceptable. I specifically put a cap in to protect me and now Vodacom ignores the cap and just sends me an alert when it is more than 10 times this level!! In fact I received 2 sms messages today within one minute of each other stating my bill was R5109.55, then a minute later that it was R4039.53. Which is it??? and why did you ignore my request!!! This is unacceptable. I am sure you will happily take off the debit order as you can follow that instruction - but ignore my set up of a limit!! After 90 minutes on phone today I finally got someone to put a new cap on and freeze my account until someone can sort this mess out. This is plain!
