Months before the cancellation of a contract regrettably held with MTN we enquired regarding the cancellation procedure of the contract. For each of the 12 months we enquired the response was call the day after the expiry of the contract and it will be converted to prepaid - that's it. The time comes to cancel and low and behold the yes MTN the the R150 talk time, 25 sms and the 1, 25GIGs and the R49.00 airtime on the phone. This is money stollen because the consumer had the right to consume what they bought with their money. The service provider had stollen this money by stealling the services purchased with it. The callcenter agents "said" they made a note that we where not in agreement with this and have taken this up with legal and the media.
