I took my Samsung Galaxy 2 into Vodaworld Midrand as I was experiencing problems when charging the device. Vodacom had to send the phone away for the repairs. When I received the phone back the problem was sorted out. Unfortunately all the apps that I've downloaded over the past year at considerable cost, was deleted, as well as some of my contacts. I complained about this at Vodaworld and was informed that the person who took my phone in should have informed me that all data and information will be lost and we should make a backup. At no stage was I informed about this and Vodacom refuses to accept any responsibility. This is just another way for Vodacom to make extra money and the consumer has to foot the bill.
