Can Telkom 8ta Management tell me how can their staff members open phone contracts without id documents and proof of residence. On the 30 April 2013 R 1707.00 was deducted in my capitec bank account deducted by TELKOMMOBI50068921401003210854. phoned the bank and they gave me the contacts details.
On the 3rd May I spoke to Gordon (the store manager) and he said two cellphone contracts were opened on my name. I dont have anycellphone contracts with telkom. I asked for the paperwork, he sent me documents with no ID document, he said there was no copy of an ID. I have no idea where did they got my payslip and my bank statement from. I opened a case and sent the affidavit to the store, I still havent heard any response from Gordon. I phoned him again today (13.052013) asking for a confirmation stating that the account has been closed, he said the departmnet will call me back. Ive been waiting for two weeks now.
