Vodacom
Opt out request ignored three times!

For the fourth time now, Vodacom sends me a spam SMS about "FREE airtime" if I recharge with R55 or more. I haven't the faintest interest in this rubbish. The previous three were on 11/04 at 10:30 and on 13/03 at 14:20 and on 18/02 at 08:10.

Included in the SMS is the instruction "Opt out? SMS STOP to 30600 (free)". The instruction was the same for each spam SMS and I immediately sent the "STOP" request to the given number. In each case I got a reply SMS stating that my details had been removed from the database.

What part of "Opt out" and "Your details have been removed from our database" is Vodacom having trouble with? If I receive another one of these SMSes, I will lay a charge of undue harassment against Vodacom. I have more than enough proof.

Now do as you have asserted on four occasions: Actually remove my details from your database instead of just saying it because I'm not interested in your spam. Not one little bit.
