To whom it may concern
The purpose of this complaint stems predominantly from bad service delivery and inaccurate information that has lead to a financial statement that holds no standing.
In March 2013 I telephonically agreed to the upgrade and told that I will have a monthly data bundle of 1 gig. At the end of March I received my iPhone and within 3 days I received a call indicating that I had already accumulated a bill of R1000.00. Aghast by this I queried and was informed that my contract and data was only from June.
This was never communicated to me before. I am aware that this issue has happened to people before and I feel this is appalling in the credibility department of Cell C as a supplier. It immediately forces someone like myself who has been a loyal customer for over 10 years' to re-consider my contract and inform many other friends and family on this issue. Making this look like an attempt to trick customers into hiking data costs up and then holding them responsible for the costs.
A miscommunication like this has resulted in a statement which I will not be responsible for due to an error form the sales department side. I will ensure this is taken to
