UNACCEPTABLE SERVICE

I've been with Vodacom for the past 17 years. Until recently I had 3 contracts with them. Last November, I received an unusually high bill for 1 of the contracts. I contacted Customer Service and requested an itemised bill. I was told that there was a fee for my request and that the bill shall be faxed to me within 24 hours. I agreed to the fee for which I was billed immediately and waited for the fax for more than 10 days. Thereafter, I had to call back more than 6 times just to investigate why the fax had not come through. Eventually, I got to speak to Rafik (a manager) who promised that the fee charged would be reversed and that
the itemised statement would be emailed to me free of charge. Unsurprisingly, the statement was not emailed to me. From December 2012 to March 2013 I continued receiving unusually high bills which made me highly frustrated because Vodacom Customer Services could never help me with an itemised bill. Thankfully, my contract terminated at the end of March and I immediately ported my number to Cell C. What a difference. So much more value for money. Now just waiting for the other 2 contracts to terminate.
