Unable to get hold of anyone

I am considering porting my number to Cell C. The instructions on the web site require an SMS be sent to a specific number, and a response will be received within 2 hours. 10 hours later I received a response saying the action had failed, please phone 084 port2us. Phoned this number, put through to a customer satisfaction survey. Dialled again, got through to a switchboard who transferred me to the porting department. Waited 4 minutes and then I abandoned the call. Phoned again, silence. Phoned again, I abandoned that call after 4 minutes.

This is a weak process. Perhaps take 2 or 3 % of the tv ad spend and use the cash to employ some folk to answer the phone when people respond to the ad!
