Vodacom
This is not acceptable

I lost my phone in the August 2012, I had the phone blacklisted. I subsequently found it in April 2013. I applied for the phone to be un-blacklisted on 26 April 2013. 2 staff members assured me that this would be done within 48 hours. Another employee informed me it would take 8 days??? Since we have not received any action, today I revisited the shop in Festival Mall to investigate what action had been taken. I was told they would send a further fax to Vodacom Blacklisting department. Since this has been on going for 2 weeks we told them this was unacceptable. The staff were not at all interested in my complaint and told me there was nothing else they could do about it as they had other clients in the shop to attend to. This phone is the original phone I received with my contract. Proof of purchase, I.D. Document and affidavit from the police have all been submitted to Vodacom.
We have also been dealing with the call centre and have spent hours being transferred between different departments without any success. We believe that the terms of the contract have been breached by with holding what we have paid for. Customer service is Non existent!!!
