I was offered a cell phone Nokia Asha 201 with the agreement of paying R109 per month then was delivered on the offices where I was working in Mthatha Eastern Cape it was around June 2012. I decided that I don't need the phone, I returned the it within 8 days.
The phone was still packed in its original package I did not open it, it was still sealed, I returned it to MTN offices in Mthatha Plaza branch in Eastern Cape. I don't remember the lady who helped me, she took the phone en said she's going to cancel it on the system then I asked if am I not supposed to sign as a proof of returning the phone then she said no there is no need.
Then I found another job in Free State end of July 2012, at the begging of August I noticed a debit order from MTN I couldn't go to the Mtata branch as I was in Free State, I complained by sending an email to Mtn and I received a response stating that they going to investigate the matter. I stopped the debit order because in my knowledge I returned the phone I was not owing MTN.
Recently I wanted to buy a car all to find out MTN has put my name in ITC, now I have a bad credit record because of that, I never skip paying a single PMT to all my accounts.
