Incorrect Information Provided

I phoned Telkom Customer Services on Friday, 03rd May 2103 at about 14h00 requesting an upgrade from 2Mbs to 4Mbs ADSL speed on my existing account. The operator first checked if my line supports 4Mbs and she confirmed that it does. She then informed me that it will take 12 to 24hrs before its activated and I will receive an sms confirming the activation. I then phoned Telkom again on Monday, 06th May 2013 after I didn't receive the sms, the Operator confirmed my order but she said it might take 30 days because it is still under investigation. For the record, I always receive a bad service from Telkom - it took Telkom 3 months to connect my telephone line (ADSL infrastructure readily available at Acacia, Greenstone Hill) after I was told that it only take 7 working days. I wish there was an alternative service provider that I can take my business to, Neotel is currently not supporting high speed internet in Greenstone Hill, Moddefontein
