I tested the Cell C signal on my property, beginning April. No difference was noted to Vodacom used at that time. Subsequently both me and my wife changed to the cheaper Cell C. I chose a pay as you go sim card option. My wife took up a 2 year contract at Nashua Mobile in Rustenburg with a SAMSUNG SIII MINI phone.
Since both of us changed to Cell C we have hardly had any communication with our phones from our home. I reported this to Cell C (Tel:084140) on 16/04/2013 (ref.3041601966) and again on 3/05/2013. I spoke to above mentioned people who were very helpful and polite. I was promised that a technician would contact me to solve this problem that was allegedly the result of arson. I also reported the lack of signal to Nashua Mobile Rustenburg several times who assured me that they have forwarded my complaints. I supplied both instances with my internet tel. no. because of our problem with the cell phones.
Meanwhile my wife has been debbitted with 2 invoices amounting to R638.71 while she had virtually no use of her telephone.
We have not received any feedback from either Cell C nor Nashua Mobile. we are still unable to use our telephones which is vital for our farm safety
