THIS is why I am trying to leave them

The contract I use is not in my name as I was a student when taking it out. Last time when I upgraded Vodacom was more than happy to call the account holder to verify my upgrade. I am currently trying to cancel the contract (1 month early) and I have sent numerous messages to ask for assistance over 3 weeks and heard nothing back. I went to a vodashop WITH the account holder and was told I had to use the call centre to verify his identity. The call centre on friday kept me on hold for so long that the cancellations department closed for the evening. We tried again on saturday and after half an hour there was no answer.

I called this morning to try again and was told by a very unhelpful lady that she has more important people to help than to make calls to check things. I have been trying to get a straight answer for almost a month now, I am happy to pay whatever money it costs to get away from vodacom forever. I just can't believe that they won't even make a phone call when it is their lazy bad attitude and incompetence that has led to the account holder being out of johannesburg right now. This is why I'm changing networks.
