Poor Customer Service Job no. 8640109-22297824

The home button of my iPhone 4 started to malfunction and I took the phone to Vodacom Menlyn for repairs. Please note that my phone was fully functional except for the home button. I could make calls, receive calls, send text messages and receive text messages. It was only the home button that was not fully functional.

When I handed the phone in, the consultant switched the phone on and off to ensure that it was fully functional - no problem. I mentioned to the consultant that a small drop of water had fallen on the home button, however, the engineering report that came back with my phone stated that there was no sign whatsoever of liquid damage. Unfortunately, since the phone was returned to me, I cannot switch it on at all. I am not sure whether it doesn't charge now, or whether it is malfunctioning in another area. One of the screws were also not properly fastened.
I gave Vodacom a phone that only had a problem with the home button, but was still fully functional otherwise.
Vodacom returned a phone to me that cannot be used at all.
I am unhappy with the level of service I received as well. Empty promises were made and communication was insufficient.
