Sick and tired of Vodacom and their bad service

I took out a contract with Vodacom about a year ago and fell into arrears. In November 2012 the full outstanding balance was paid and it was confirmed by Vodacom that nothing further was owed.

Now, 6 months later I am looking to take out a contract with Cell C and the tell me that all of a sudden I have been placed on the ITC Blacklisting. This obviously caught me totally off guard as I know for a fact that nothing further was outstanding with Vodacom.

I then called Vodacom and after waiting 30min to speak to a consultant I was transferred from department to department, as it seems no one there knows what their job description is. I finally got put through to the legal department where Vernon told me, oh sorry we forgot to update your account, it will take 14 working days to remove you off this list.

I am disgusted by the service I have received after I was hounded by Vodacom for the money. I kept my end of the agreement and paid my account in full, but now 6 month later they have been too incompetent to remove me from that list.

If I do not get this sorted today I am taking further action against Vodacom as I am sick and tired of their bad service and never mindedness
