No service since 13th of January

Good Day

I have been experiencing connection issues since the 13th of January 2013. I have a 8ta branded E365 modem attached to a D-link 2750u router. The light on the E365 modem just keeps flashing every three seconds, which means its searching for service. Sometimes it connects for a while and then just keeps disconnecting. Most of the time I am unable to connect.

I have tried unplugging the E365 modem and rebooting my PC. I have also tried setting my router up again. Nothing makes a difference. Before the 13th I have never experienced any issues with connections with this hardware setup. I have also tried plugging the modem directly into my PC, this also does not solve the issue. I have also heard other people complain that they are experiencing the exact same issue, which also started around the same time.
