Incorrect contract

I have been a member of Virgin Active for 12 years and Discovery Vitality for around 4 years. I received an email on 25 Feb 2013 indicating that my Virgin Active benefits have ended as I didn't visit the gym enough in the last year. (This is fully understandable as my work sent me to Dubai for 8 months in last year). The email indicated however that if I rejoin before 31 Mar 2013 I will not have to pay the activiation fee and I will start on a 50% saving on monthly gym fees until I make 36 visits in a rolling year. I decided to take up this offer and visited the Virgin Active at Vodaworld in Gauteng. I met with a membership consultant Themba Tshili (9012564) who did the paperwork for this. Only once I got home and started reading through the paperwork did I realize that this consultant signed me up for a brand new normal 2 year contract which made no mention of the Discovery Vitality. This was not what I asked for. I wanted to go back onto the Discovery Vitality program as the email indicated. This blunder was caused by an incompetent consultant and now I am stuck in a new 2 year normal gym membership for which I have to pay an activation fee and debit orders are already dedcuted.
