I was sold a contract along with the promise of a personal training session and a personalised program. I was given certain times that I was allowed to enter the gym by the sales person, but these times did not correspond with the actual times that I was granted and denied entry. The personal training session and program never materialised and I was debited with R100 for an entry token when I was told that I could use a token that I already had in my possession. I attended gym once, the same day that I came to query the token and then decided to evoke my rights in terms of the consumer protection act to cancel the contract or have them deliver on what they promised. The simply ignored my request and continue to debit my bank account despite my only attending gym once and despite me cancelling the contract in terms of my rights as a consumer. Planet Fitness do not have anyone who can assist me at the local gym in Parklands with this matter until Tuesday. I have previously phoned when the Admin manager was not available and asked for an email address, but was not provided with one. I find the entire manner in which the group operates extremely unprofessional and lacks client interest
