I was approached at the bottom of the stairs at Witbank Klipfontein in 2012 round about December time, and enticed into signing a contract with the Body Lab Gym. The representative told me she was going to Pretoria the next day and that the special ended that day, so I signed up without a copy of my ID nor proof of residence. The Body Lab Gym representative told me I could pay as I used the gym as I told her I was not employed, so my daughter used it for about 3 months which was paid for. I was called on 27.3.2013 and told I owe R11 000.00 for non-payment of the e3 year contract. I was shocked as I was under the impression given by the representative, as per the communication with her. The lady that called me on 27.3.2013 said she is from the lawyers and they will attach my house, list my name as she has my ID number and I own property. She said you people do not read the contracts that is the problem, and I must not tell her I am unemployed. I am a director of a company that is registered under my name but is not operating. This stinking attitude and behaviour of targeting innocent poor people will kill the gym. The gym is in the sticking area in the dark corner unsafe
