I cancelled my gym membership in January 2013 and paid the cancellation fee. Days later I got a call from Mandla Mbokazi who offered me a free gym membership for the month of Feb, I said OK and also informed him that i was in a process of switching medical aids and will only be in a position to re-instate my membership once all this has been sorted.

1 March 2013 I get a debit of R 564.00 in my account and when I enquire with Virgin Active, I was told that I signed up for the membership over the telephone. I spoke to Fatima at the Cape Town office, Mandla Mbokazi, Lerato and Xiki Baloyi at the Greenstone Branch who have all promised to investigate. To this day I have not heard from these 4 characters.

What really makes me upset is that Mandla Mbokazi is now avoiding my calls. How does he sleep at night knowing that he is my money?

I want Virgin Active - Greenstone to cancel my membership as I have initially requested.
