I have been a member of the Virgin Active Roodepoort for about 4 years, The staff is great and have a wonderful attitude. Everyone from the cleaner to the Personal Trainers are always friendly and ready to help.
I do feel however that they could really take this gym to another level if the facilities we upgraded somewhat.
The functional space that you see in other gyms is practically non-exsistant in this gym. The wieght selection is limited as there is just not enough for everyone and they really could do something about the childrens facilities (these only cater for children up to age 8)
I pay the same amount in fees as any other member going to another facility and yet do not feel I am getting the same end product.
With a bit of TLC this gym could easily return to it's former glory and pull the large number it used to.
