I have been receiving endless calls from virgin active claiming i had missed a debit order for May 2013. not realising, i said i would make a payment asap. only to later recall that in Mid April, after losing my job, i requested, at my home club that my membership be frozen due to lack of income. i wrote a short letter, as requested by the receptionist on duty that evening and handed it in. I do not think that note ever reached the administrator of the club. i am an ex employee of Virgin and i am aware of what the procedure is. on Saturday 11th January 2014, i received yet another call but was unable to speak as i was at work. i was then very ubruptly told "make sure you call us back then." im shocked at how unprofessional and laid back this company has become, i want to cancel my membership!!! i have sent messages via the "contact me" link on the website as i wish to speak with someone other than the woman who has been "handling my account." I still havent heard anything.
