Virgin active has been billing me Three hundred and ninety something rands and my husband Six hundred and some odd rands for private membership as we switched from Vitality to private. Now I wanted to change back to Vitality and nobody could assist me because they gave me different payment options that didn't even exist up until a point where I decided that I will cancel both memberships because this was just not working. I was told to send an e-mail and membership will be cancelled. Another annoying thing is that between October and now, I have dealt with different people as the staff moves clubs every now and then. I was requested to send an e-mail in order to cancel, I did that on the 31st of October for cancellation with immediate effect. To my surprise, on the 1st of November, the debit order still went, I went to the club to ask and they showed me a red note next to my name saying that the membership is in the process of being cancelled and notice is a month. I called head office on the 25th November, I complained about the service at the club, the gentleman said that he will call me on the same day and he didnt call. On the 01/12/2013, Virgin active took my money again.
