The nature of my complaint stems from the joining fee that i have once again been instructed to pay. I was on an existing Medical aid scheme (Malcor) up until the 31 December 2012 and switched to Discovery as of the 1st of January and had my Vitality activated. However I have been informed that afer paying my first joining fee early 2012, i must once agin pay a R950 joinnig fee as the contract on the existing medical aid ended!!?? How can i be asked to pay the fee again if i have simply remained at the gym and only my medical aid scheme has changed? I would like to know more information but that is proving near impossible as i am unable to get through to anyone in the call centre after 4 attempts over 3 days.
