I am disgusted and fed up with the level of abuse I have received from Planet Fitness. I am a member at the Craighall branch, which only opened recently after months of renovation.
During the renovation process, I froze my account. This freezing request was approved by Planet Fitness, but not in the months I requested. Despite my account being frozen, they continued to take my monthly fee of R240 from my bank account. What's more, as soon as the request was sent, a hailstorm of illegal and activities started to appear on my account.
On three occasions, they debited over R800 from my bank account (illegally) in addition to the R240 monthly fee they continued to take from my account. On each occasion they were extremely apologetic and baffled, and resolved to clear the issue for me.
But once again, on 29 November, Planet Fitness was illegally debited R834 from my account in addition to my monthly fee of R240.
I am a fed up consumer. What are you going to do to fix that?
