I have been a member of virgin active on the 24 visit per year plan, Due to me being pregnant and having complications in my pregnancy I was unable to attend this visits, I advised the call centre as well as the branch about my problem, They advised that my DR should give them a note to advise of the situation to which she did, After I gave birth I wanted to return back to Gym and was various times told that my subscribtion was cancelled and that I would need to rejoin with an opening cost of R900, I did not have this funds and decided to leave it, Almost 3 years later I am being called saying that I owe them R750 for my service that was still active and that I was handede over, I do not believe that this is the case as when I tried accessing the gym they would not allow me saying that the account was closed, no further correspondence was sent to me, They are now saying that they had called as well as sent me letters to date which I have not received, A debt collector by the name of megan contacted me about 2weeks ago and said that she will investigate this and get back to me and I have yet still not heard anything.
