The person responsible for the chlorine at the Potchefstroom gym does not realise/understand how to measure the correct quantity of chlorine that is supposed to be poured into a pool. The pool is not an outside pool, but yet the water is always so milky that I can hardly see a few feet in front of me. After my swim I feel like I have had a mini face-lift as my skin is dry and tight. The first thing you smell when walking into the gym is chlorine. It really is unpleasant swimming there.
I commute between Pretoria and Potchefstoom, and the Virgin active at Hatfield has lovely swimming facilities. The water is always clean and chlorine levels checked properly, but I honestly think the person in charge in Potchefstroom needs to go for training or understand how to do their job properly instead of just dumping chlorine into the pool. If there was a Planet Fitness in Potch I would no hesitate to change gyms.
