Early 2011 I approached Zone fitness Parow with the intention of joining. It happened that, on the same day one of the managers signed me in, I had a tragedy. I am not South African and had to leave urgently for Zimbabwe. So few hours after I had paid R100 joining fee and handed my details I went back to the Gym and found the same manager who had signed me still on duty. I explained to him what had happened and told him I was leaving that same day and I was not sure if I was going to come back to SA. He understood my dilemma and went inside the office and told me that he cancelled the account but he was not able to refund me the R100 I had just paid on which I also understood. I then left for Zimbabwe and stayed there for a while trying to sort things.
After I sorted things in Zim I came back here and now I am being harassed by Credit works. Now I am threatened by legal action for what? I do not understand why because the fact is I have never been a member practically and have never used the Zone Fitness equipment.
