MANAGER SWEARS AT CUSTOMER

A STUDENT ON MONTH TO MONTH CONTRACT WAS REFUSED ENTRANCE AND TOLD THAT HE MUST PAY A JOINING FEE AGAIN AFTER NOT ATTENDING FOR A MONTH. HE HAD TO PAY A NON-MEMBER FEE TO GAIN ENTRANCE TO THE FACILITY.

TWO DAYS LATER AFTER EXPLAINING TO THE STAFF THAT ACCORDING TO HIS CONTRACT HE ONLY HAD TO PAY A JOINING FEE AFTER NOT ATTENDING FOR 3 MONTHS HE PAID HIS MONTHLY FEE BUT WAS THEN INFORMED THAT THE MONIES TAKEN WAS FOR AN EQUIPMENT LEVY.

IT WAS DECIDED TO RATHER JOIN ANOTHER GYM AND A REFUND WAS REQUESTED FOR THE "LEVY" PAID. STAFF REFUSED TO PROVIDE THE OWNERS CONTACT NUMBER AND A LADY RETURNED THE CALL, WHEN SHE WAS INFORMED OF THE DECISION SHE USED EXTREMELY FOUL LANGUAGE THAT WAS NOT ONLY VERY UNPROFESSIONAL BUT ALSO UNACCEPTABLE. SHE SLAMMED THE PHONE DOWN. WHEN A CALL WAS MADE TO THE GYM AGAIN SHE USED THE SAME FOUL LANGUAGE TO INFORM US THAT IF A REFUND WAS REQUESTED WE MUST SUE HER IN ORDER TO REFUND US.

EVEN THOUGH THE AMOUNT OF MONEY INVOLVED IS VERY SMALL IT IS SAD TO THINK THAT A SERVICE PROVIDER WOULD EVEN CONSIDER TREATING A CUSTOMER IN SUCH MANNER. EVEN WORSE WAS HEARING SUCH FOUL LANGUAGE FROM A LADY IN FRONT OF ALL HER STAFF AND OTHER CUSTOMERS.
