Disappointing Service at Virgin Active

My wife and I have been members of virgin active Vodaworld for the past 2 years.
On recently wanting to upgrade our accounts to vitality- we queried with the sales assistant if there were any specials coming up.
This was the 30 September and his response was he was not sure.
The next day we find out that there is a promotion running with the black kit bag for the month of October.
If there was any specials- we would have waited out for it instead of paying close to R2000 to change our contracts to Vitality.

This is the second time that we have lost out on bags! The first time was the Adidas and now the black bag.

The responce I recieved from virgin active was the apologies, and that we get November n December free, which doesnt solve the problem at hand.
The other reason for not getting the bag is that it is for new members, but i could understand as we paid the joining initiating fee of R895 and a new card of R100.

It is quiet disappointing that as regular users of the gym as well as loyal payers, we still do not get the service you expect.
