Yesterday i phoned the Planet Fitness in Lynwood for a two weeks work out, the Sales Consultant Francis who answered the phone and after i had explained to him the reason has to why i phoned he asked me to come through to the gym. When i got he wasn't there. I found this rather disrespectful and not taking his job seriously.
I then phoned the gym manager today 3 times since 9 am - 12:30 and i then left my contact details when i phoned for the third time i was told that the manager said i quote she is rather busy, because they have just received new equipments, as if the equipments are more important then the customer. I tried phoning their head office the line is always busy.
"I read an article in the paper that Planet Fitness has approached the competition commission accusing as Virgen Active abusing its market power. Well Planet Fitness the choice is from the customers where they choose to go and customer service is crucial for the gym industry something Planet Fitness lack. So better up your game instead of blaming others for lack of similar success as your competitor. The rule of this game is: SERVICE, SERVICE, SERVICE.
