My sister and I opened a membership with Planet Fitness in December 2009.
In May of this year we decided to cancel this membership, and in accordance with their policy we gave one month's written notice (as we were passed the 36 month period) with termination effective from 30 June 2013. We submitted this notice directly to our branch and were told by one of the employees that we shouldn't be surprised if our account keeps being debited after the cancellation date, the fact that this kind of sarcastic response could be given to a client is both outrageous and unprofessional. Two months after the date of cancellation our accounts are still being debited.
I'd like to be contacted regarding the immediate termination of these memberships, as well as information on the refund of the accounts.
