I have had the most disgusting service from V.A ground staff and management. I was called on my work telephone and cellphone SIX times in one day and about 20 times over on week - the rep was pestering me in terms of when I would sign up and when I would pay the joining fee. After calling management three times, the rep continued to pursue his cause and called me non stop.
Next I was denied access and have been for the past three weeks because I refuse to take in a doctors note. I have asthma, it is not serious, I have a pump. I agreed that the gym management would call my Dr, and get clearance (which is pathetic, I have been at Virgin Active in the UK and not once had any of the above issues). No one has called my Dr so I am paying to go to a gym that I cant even get into.
The staff at the Randburg gym have an appalling attitude and I wish I had never signed up at V.A. What a horrible experience - not one staff member I have dealt with has been friendly. The service is horrendous and completely trashes the entire experience of what gym is about!!
