My wife took my daughter for her swimming lesson. they left my daughters shoes in the changeroom and when they got back it was gone. I took my son to swim the next day (friday) and accidentally left his swimming cap and costume in the shower cubicle. I called the manager (vusi) and was informed that lost and found are kept for 2 weeks before they are given to a "charity". When i went in on the Wednesday they said that nothing was given in as lost and found. Today my waife was in the gym and overhead a young lady asking the cleaning staff if they saw her phone. she accidentally left it in the changeroom and it is now. Virgin Active has a rotten bunch of people working there. they are not honest and management just shakes its head and says "Eish". they do not believe that their staff are responsible. I told the manager that said that it was members that are taking the items, that i do not believe that a member will my childs R100 shoes.
the blase' attitude of the so called management at virgin active is very disconcerting.
