In March I cancelled my membership with Planet fitness. I gave them two months notice. On the 13Th of March I supplied Lizette with my ID number and thought that it was now cancelled. Needless to say the debit orders have not stopped and Lizette says that she has never received my correspondence and now I have to pay a settlement fee of R200.00 which is completely ridiculous. She never informed me and I have done everything from my part. now I have paid fees of R499.00 for an additional 3 months and I am completely fed up. Now I understand why everyone said I should rather pay them on a cash basis as they love to ride people as soon as they fill in a debit order. STAY AWAY FROM PLANET FITNESS.
