On January 8th, I walked into Virgin active Morningside to enquire about changing my membership to Vitality with Nkosi Masuku. At the time I did not have the R800 upgrade fee required so I left the transaction undone. I was than called by a consultant from Morningside Virgin Active (Nkosi Masuku) to check if we could go ahead on the upgrade and that is when I asked him if I could just deactivate my membership completely. He assured me that he could do that for me.
He called me back about a month or so later, and I confirmed with him that I had said that I wanted my membership deactivated. He (Nkosi Masuku) said he had taken care of it.
Next thing I received a call from Head Office in Cape Town from a Mr B. Natus, asking me why I was not making my payments. I told the gentleman that I had deactivated my membership in January with a consultant (Nkosi Masuku) at the Morningside branch. He said he could see the call I received from Morningside but not the deactivation of membership. My membership was than only deactivated for sure on April 30th by the consultant in Cape Town (B. Natus). I have since received mail that I am R1875.00 in arrears.
