I cancelled my account on the 2nd of April 2013. They advised that it is a one month notice and my last payment will go off at the end of April. That was all done.
I have however paid for personal training sessions, and it states that if I didn't use the personal training sessions, it is 100% refundable when showing the original slips.
I have done so, and they have not come back to me. I need to follow up with the branch every week, after they advise that they will come back to me with feedback.
The lady assisting me with the query at the branch, said it was declined for no reason (once again, they didn't advise me, I had to follow up at the branch). She said she will just follow up with head office. And again, till today I have had no feedback. They advised it would take 4-6 weeks for the refund (we are on week 10 already).
And every time I go to the branch, there is a different story.
I would like Head Office/Accounts to phone me with a date for when the refund will take place. I have the original slips stating it is refundable.
