I joined Planet Fitness last year April. As per my contract I agreed to pay R415 per month which needs to be deducted from my bank account for a 12 month period. For the first 6 months no debit order gone off and I had to pay inside the gym every time - even after I complained about it numerous times.
Annelize van Wyk, the general manager, offered that I only need to pay for 11 months for all the trouble I had gone through. When the end of my payment period came closer I asked her to please notify accounts so they do not deduct the 12th month's payment.
When it was the end of the month, double payment went off and after complaining about it and waited almost 3 weeks for a response, they only paid back half the amount.
It's now been another 3 weeks and I'm still waiting for them to sort it out. Phoned & emailed several times and I've received no feedback or update from them. Hopefully this will get some sort of reaction???
