I was retrenched last year May 2012 and apply for my Life net policy, which cover your Installment when retrenched. I filled in the life net application form the end of May 2013 and received response only the beginning of July 2012 saying that I am not a life net members and that they cant assist me with my claim. I then emailed Lifeguard which is the policy provider and spoke with Laura Martins, which asked me to fax through the rejection letter and statements. After I fax the documents I have never heard from her again, I emailed her again but received no response. I then went back to the store and only after faxing and taking in documents 5times they paid out my policy after 5months.By that time I already have been harassed with collection calls and collection letters and was also charge for those calls and letters even though I told the agents about the situation. Recently my phone just died and I send it in to the insurance to my surprise I was told that my insurance on my phoned was cancelled. I want into the store to go speak with the Manager Pam Naicker who told me that my Insurance was cancelled in 2011. She said she cant help and that I can close my acc if I want if I.
