I went to Mr Price home on Monday to buy new bedding. As advertised on their website and in their new brochure winter 2013 it states tht when you buy 2 winter sheets you get a pack of pillowcases worth R59.99 for free. I had made my purchase and apon walking out noticed tht the price did not add up. I asked the cashier why the pillow cases were not deducted as they are running a promotion. (the add is even in the shop window for what I had purchased) she said that there is no such special and that i should just pay the amount. After debating in the store i asked them to reverse my whole transaction with them. I bought other things aswell, and am not prepared to do bussiness with a store using false advertising. After waiting a long time she swiped my card and said the transaction will be reversed. The EFT was never reversed and did not reflect on my account either.
