Shocking After Sales Service

I bought an electric Ryobi Hedge Trimmer. While under guarantee the motor started smoking and stopped working. I took it to the agents ofRyobi who inspected the machine and gave me a note to take to Builders Express Umhlanga to swop out the machine for a replacement one as the old one was not repairable. I visted Builders Warehouse Umhlanga and spoke to Catherine at customer services. I was told that there was no stock in early February 2013. They would call me in a week when stock wasreceived by the branch. During the next two and half months I called and personally visited the store totalling a dozen occassions and was told the same thing that there was not stock and I will be called in a few days. nobody did call in those intervening months. Eventually, on the 13th April 2013 I asked to speak to the Sales Manager Leon Luckan who then said that there was a unit at their Springfield branch but he was not prepared to collect it and bring it to the Umhlanga branch. In frustration I decided to go the Springfield branch to collect the one unit that Leon reserved for me. On arrival I found that the unit was not working as well. I asked for a refund and bought a hedge trimmer elswhere
