No info given or warning when opening account

I opend my edgars account in August 2012. after a couple months and paying my account on time and MORE then the instalment amount, I noticed that the account is not actually getting any less. I then discovered that I am actually on a 12 month instalment plan and not on 6. I phoned the help desk on the 25th of April 2013 hoe explained to me that I opened and intrest bearing account via SMS and that due to my income ect I actually do not qualify for a 6 month payment plan. Firstly, when I had opened my account, there was NO SMS sent with details that this is an intrest bearing account, secondly, when the account was finalised at the N1 city Branch, the cashier at the time did not WARN me or go through the terms and conditions of my account. Thirdly when I phoned yesterday I was informed that the 6 month payment plan would not have been possible if the system rejected it, BUT I am given a R6000 credit limit which is almost my WHOLE SALARY. I don't understand how I do not qualify for a 6 month payment plan but for a HUGE amount of credit? I am so disappointed in EDGARS and the fact that the terms of my account was NEVER discussed with me, I want my account CHANGED ASAP! This is
