Home choice did not keep their promise to me

"We have identified that your payment was not allocated to your account on the original payment date due to the incorrect payment information that was used. The payment was only transferred in August when the proof of payment was received. Your account has since been adjusted accordingly for the payment that has been received.
As confirmed with Musturah, your payment profile has been updated with the relevant credit bureaus and you can confirm this within the turnaround time that has been agreed."

The above is what i was promised by home choice in october 2012, but still today my records at Transunion still has a balance of R2 938 and status of bad debts written off. Can Home choice tell me why is these still so?
